Environmental Health Specialist – Sanitarian
Duties and Responsibilities: They are responsible of enforcing government regulations and advise and educate clients. They also improve water and sanitation facilities and are involved in improving the quality of community environments. Other things they do include collecting and analyzing samples, screen samples for possible health hazards, design or manage sanitation, disposal, and water systems. They also oversee disposal of infectious wastes, develop and manage prevention and education programs, and evaluate and identify health hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
Salary: $25,000 - $50,000
Education: Students who would like to become an environmental health specialist sanitarian should take college preparatory courses, especially in math and science during high school. You are required at least a bachelor’s degree in environmental health or environmental engineering. Many jobs require certification and/or a master’s degree in these, or related fields.

Reflection: I don’t think I would like to be an environmental health specialists because I’m interested in something different.
