Duties and Responsibilities: Specialists and physicians treat wide variety of ear, nose, and throat –related disorders, such as hoarseness, hearing loss, sore throats, snoring and sinus problems, and cancer of the head and neck region. By combining compassionate care with specialized treatment options and the most current education and technology, they create a caring and healing environment for both children and adults.
Salary: $327,517
Education: ENT physicians must complete about 15 years of education and training, including a 4-year undergraduate program, 4-year medical program, at least 5 years of specialty and 1- to 2-year residency program. Then, physicians must undergo peer evaluations and pass oral and written examinations administered by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Reflection: I wouldn’t like to be an ear, nose, and Throat Surgeon because it seems like a hard career to do.
