Reflection:  James is trying to say that if you really believe is what you are inspired to do then it will become true. For example, if you really believe you will get straight A’s in your grades and if you try then it will come true because you believed in yourself.  Sometimes to get what you want you have to try a little harder and be persistent so it can accomplish as you wanted it to be. 'If you don't try you'll never know'.
